Come visit with us, pitch your ideas for club events and functions. Get info on your vehicles, buy or sell items, see show photos or video. Chat with us. This is not a display, but a planning meeting and monthly status update. Memorial Day Greenwood Memory Lawn

Monday, 27 May, 2019, 0730-1100. The AMVCC has a long standing commitment to provide a military vehicle display at the Greenwood cemetery. We typically have 15-20 vehicles on the lawn. Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals (VAREP) Gala - Thursday 25 April 2019 1600-2000 hours, Chandler. We were invited to a gala for the VAREP. They are looking for a static display. Possible dinner provided. Avion Center - 1733 E. Northrop Blvd. Chandler AZ 85286. Setup at 1600 display over cocktail hour 1730-1830 and dinner 1830. Exit possible 2000 hours? 28th Annual Arizona Military Vehicle Show

Saturday-Sunday 26-27JAN18 9a-5p Saturday, 9a-3p Sunday. Tempe Diablo Stadium - East Parking Lot, 2200 W Alameda Dr, Tempe, AZ 85282. East lot, between the stadium and the I-10 freeway. Setup for show is 9a-5p Friday, January 25th. Show hours are 9a-5p on Saturday, January 26th and 9a-4p on Sunday, January 27th. Swap meet, vendors, food, Coast Guard Live Band. Public invited to display their military vehicles - No club membership required, No fee, free entrance to show with display vehicle. This is the club's largest and oldest event. Used to be held at 52nd Street and McDowell, called Papago! But now it's the Arizona Military Vehicle Show! Show Info Page -

Small Arms Review - Crossroads Gun Show 2018

Saturday 01 DEC 18 0800 - Arizona State Fairgrounds, McDowell and 17th Avenue, Phoenix. Expected to be the same as last year. Details not yet confirmed. Stage as early as Thursday 29 NOV 18. Show ends on Sunday 02DEC18. Most members arrive Saturday morning before the open of the show, which is at 0900. This is very crowded, please don't be late. Liability concerns with moving vehicles during and open show. Usually we can leave anytime after lunch. Display in front of the (SAR) Exhibit Hall, enter fence gate near the south end of the outdoor grandstands.

Sierra Verde School - Veterans Day Assembly

Friday 09 NOV 18 0700 - 1030 hrs. Local west side primary school holds elaborate Veteran's day assembly in cafeteria. AMVCC has been providing a vehicle display in the morning as children arrive to the school for many years. School contact this year is Kerrie Stephens, and Rob Lippert will be loosely organizing.

West Wing School - Veterans Appreciation Assembly

Phoenix Veterans Day Parade

Monday 12NOV18 0830-0900 Staging at usual, North Phoenix Baptist Church. Central and Bethany Home Rd. All members invited and encouraged to display. Special Event for 100th Anniversary of George Paulsen's 1918 WW1 Liberty Truck. Early morning crew for that has been assigned.

Cub Scout Braves Pow Wow

Saturday 17NOV18, 0630-1500 hrs. 1901 E. Dobbins Rd Phoenix AZ - South 19th Street and Dobbins, base of South Mountain. Cub Scout camp ground. Club has made this event in the past. Arrive in the 0-dark:30 or pre-set the afternoon-night before. Security and event staffers on site all night. This event is not as wild as the Scout-O-Rama. The kids have activities that takes them from the display area. Event goes to 1500, but we could sneak out after lunch. Last time we got food made by the scouts. Dogs and beans... Display at AZ State Fair

05-28 October 2018 - AZ State Fairgrounds, Phoenix, AZ. - Albert has his M936 5 ton wrecker rotator on display at the 2018 Arizona State Fair. It will be there the entire length of the fair. See it in the "Home Art" building that is near McDowell / 19th Ave. entrance, on the Avenue of flags. Fair runs from 05-28 October, 2018. State fairgrounds, Phoenix, AZ.

Big Sandy Fall Shoot

Friday Saturday Sunday, 19-20-21 OCT 18, 0800-2100 hrs Largest machinegun shoot in the world. Club member Rob Lippert goes out twice a year to this event. Contact him for details. This fall, possible M60A1 with live 105mm main gun and 20mm Vulcan. You never know what will actually make it. Shoot is approx 11 miles north of the town of Wikieup, off U.S.93 between Wickenburg and Interstate 40. From Phoenix north bound on 93, exit highway at dirt road to the east, just north of mile marker 111. Follow signs 5 miles back to the private range. Food on site. Primitive free form camping nearly required. Rob brings his M151A2, but this event is not friendly to MV displays. In the 12 years it's been running, we have not found a central location to camp and display club vehicles. Go to this event just to see it. Try and flag down Rob as he drives around in his M151A2 MUTT. See their WEBSITE for more info. rob@armytrucks.org

Pima Air Museum - Tucson

Saturday 27 October 2018. 6000 E. Valencia Rd, Tucson, AZ 85756 Arrive 0700. Museum opens for display 0900-1700. Local MV collector group in Tucson is having a military vehicle & living history display at the Pima Air Museum. The Arizona Ground Crew will be there. The AHMTA has been invited. There is lots of space outdoors to display. No indoor space. No charge to display.

Scottsdale Trunk or Treat

Halloween, 31 October 2018 - San Fransisco Giants Stadium at 7408 E. Osborn Rd. Scottsdale AZ 85251. Event from 1730-2100. Arrive 1600-1700 hours. Over 700 kids, this year we expect around 2,500 general public. Attended by police, SWAT, fire, and many in the First Responder community. No charge to display. Hand out whatever material you would like. They provide candy to hand out.
